TNSFAC FPOs was a National Agro Foundation (NAF) project carried out in partnership with the Tamil Nadu Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium in Tamil Nadu, from 2014 to 2015. Among the results recorded under NAF's Agri-Business Division: promoted 10 FPOs across multiple districts, 2 under NFSM and 8 under NADP. It is one of 8 completed Agri-Business Division projects.
About this project
NAF was empanelled as a Resource Institution under the National Food Security Mission (NFSM) and the National Agricultural Development Programme (NADP).
The project is part of NAF’s Agri-Business Division. From the first TNSFAC producer companies in 2014 to World Bank-assisted programmes handholding 55 FPOs at a time: the institutions farmers now own and run.
