About this project

Funded by HDFC Bank and sanctioned in October 2024, the programme is being implemented in 16 census villages. The district was selected as it falls under an aspirational block, and the villages were chosen based on poverty levels and the predominance of farming communities. It aims to improve the socio-economic condition of farmers and rural households through sustainable livelihoods and income generation.

The project is part of NAF’s Watershed Division. Water security is the foundation of rural livelihoods. Our watershed programmes restore waterbodies, build check dams, and strengthen soil and water conservation across more than a hundred villages.
